Important: Please do not submit URLs containing personal or sensitive information. Such URLs will be stored and processed as part of the preview functionality, and we cannot filter or remove this data automatically.

The Extension retrieves preview data from hovered links by making a standard request to the target URL. In rare cases, some websites implement links that trigger actions (such as activating an account, unsubscribing from emails, or confirming attendance) through the URL itself using "GET" requests.
If such a link is hovered over while using the Extension - for example, in a webmail client or notification panel - the preview request may trigger the action unintentionally. This behavior depends entirely on how the external site is designed and is not controlled by the Extension.
The Extension does not execute scripts, fill out forms, or store any personal data from such interactions. However, users are encouraged to avoid hovering over links with embedded sensitive actions unless they fully understand and trust the destination.
We do not intentionally collect personally identifiable information (PII). However, users may submit or hover over URLs that contain embedded personal data (e.g., email addresses, tokens, or names within the URL path or query parameters).
If such a URL is submitted through the website, the metadata retrieved from that page - such as title, description, Open Graph tags, and favicon - may be stored to enable preview functionality and revision history. We do not store the full content of the web page or extract hidden data beyond standard metadata tags.
When using the Extension, the hovered URL itself is not stored in raw form. However, if the target website includes PII in its public metadata (such as an Open Graph description or image alt text), that data may be cached unintentionally as part of the preview process.
We encourage users to avoid submitting or interacting with URLs that contain sensitive personal data. All processing is automated and designed only to support link previews.

We retain anonymized and non-identifiable metadata as long as necessary to operate and improve our services. Cached content is stored using hashed URLs to preserve privacy.
All communication occurs over HTTPS. Our servers and data stores are protected with industry-standard encryption and access controls.
